ROAD CLOSED (UPDATED)
See Below for new areas and times
Dear Sir / Madam
I’m writing to give you advance notification and information about the emergency embankment remediation works that Oxfordshire County Council will be carrying out on a section of the A4155 Henley Road in South Oxfordshire. Attached is a copy of the letter that is to be distributed to residents and stakeholders that may be affected by these emergency works. The letter explains what the works will involve and what access arrangements will be put in place for residents.
Phase 1 of the works are scheduled to start on Monday 21 August and will be initially carried out using temporary traffic signals, and will last 1 week.. Phase 2 of the works are scheduled to start on Tuesday 29 August and will be carried out under full road closure conditions and are expected to take 9 weeks to complete. During Phase 2 the section of the A4155 from the Playhatch roundabout to the junction with Spring Lane will be closed.
Advanced signs notifying the works have been in place on the A4155 since 26 June 2017. We have arranged for 3 number variable message signs to be erected at key locations on the surrounding road network in advance of the closure. These signs will carry advance warning messages of the road closure.
We have set up a dedicated email address should you wish to contact the team dealing with the works; FlowingSprings@oxfordshire.gov.uk
Kind regards
Mr Elio Astone
